I've done this plenty of times on other routers without a problem, however I can't successfully forward any ports on my new 2710Vn. As a test I've tried opening port 7777 in both port redirection and in the open ports settings, and neither seem to work. I'm then testing it using a test tool at http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ . It just reports the port on my IP address as closed. Am I missing something obvious from somewhere else? Should I be amending the firewall settings too?
