Lowering SNR on the V2820Vn was created by mehuge
So I am connected to ADSL2+ at less than optimal speed. My current SNR is 9 and I wondered if its possible to tell the Vigor to use more signal, thus lowering the SNR, or will the vigor find the sweet spot automatically?

ADSL2+(G.992.5) SHOWTIME 1147972 17176512 9 27

My little o2 router does this automatically and runs happily with ~4.5 SNR.

DSL Type: G.992.5 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,399 / 19,508
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 18.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 13.0 / 25.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 4.0 / 4.5
