2820 dropping wan2 usage was created by casino
I have my 2820 set up with 2 broadband connected, i was load balancing specific ip's through wan2 and all was working fine. Also had schedules running to block ip's at certain times.
I have not changed anything in the settings that i can think of but any ip now set to use wan2 will not access the internet unless i disable wan1.
If is set ip’s to wan2 they will not work, if i set them back to wan1 they work fine.

Any ideas as it seem the 2820 has developed a mind of its own.

Thanks for any help.

I had a simialer fault

To check try do a reboot of the router ( 2820 ) so that when it comes on again WAN2 comes online first before WAN1 ( ADSL ) and see if ip's running of wan2 work but then suddenly don't work once WAN1 kicks in online

I had to revert to firmware 3.3.3 ( most reliable firmware for 2820 ) anything higher has the same issue with WAN2

My issue was WAN2 won't port forward properly once WAN1 came online , looked like both WAN's are fine but WAN2 was been disregarded once WAN1 kicked in

yes this is exactly what i am getting, my firmware is as it came out the box. 3.3.4.1_232201

it was working fine for a couple of weeks. thats the strange thing.

can you go backward in formware even thoug this is what the router came with?

I've gone back and fourth ... so far so good , well good as far as the 2820 is ( I found that the 2820 is not the most reliable of draytek routers , 1 issue after the other )

I've ordered a new Vigor2830Vn with VigorCare and GlobalView

I hope the 2830 is reliable like my old 2800 which I gave to a friend and still going strong
