Port Redirection on 2820n not working [3.3.5.1] was created by stuart elliott
I am trying to set up port redirection of incoming port 8085 to port 80 on an internal ip address, but it's not going through for some reason.

2820n IP is 192.168.100.226, subnet mask of 255.255.254.0 running firmware 3.3.5.1
web server is 192.168.101.10

If I connect via VPN, I can see 192.168.101.10 no problem, but trying to connect via the routers IP address or fqdn fails, I have even done a factory reset, in case there was some corruption in the settings somewhere, but to no avail.

Any clues?

Is the NAT session table showing a corrsponding session after a connection attempt?
Does 192.168.101.10 use the 2820n as it's default gateway
Did it work on a earlier firmware version?

I have the same problem on the same firmware it used to be able to access my NAS box but not now. However the strange thing is I can still access the management page of an wireless AP! Both are set up identically the only difference is the puplic port both go to port 80 on the respective IPs. Both have the IPs bound to their macs

I looked at the sessions table after a failed attempt. The failed session to the NAS box showed up as well as the succesfull one to the AP.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons why they haven't released 3.3.5.1 officially to the UK yet? :)

I just assumed it was because Draytek UK were slow moving, however maybe there's an actual reason for it.

I think we'll see 3.3.5.2 for the UK as soon as beta testing is over - see ftp://ftp.draytek.pl/Seria_2820/Firmware/
