Hope someone can help me with configuring WAN failover using an VIGOR 2820 & VIGOR 120.

I have 2 ADSL2+ connections which have both been tested as working.

The 1st ADSL is working through the WAN1 port with no problems. It is using G.992.5 ADSL2+ with Annex M.
The VIGOR 120 is connected to the ethernet port (WAN2). I've checked the web console for the VIGOR 120 and it is set to use MPOA using G.992.5 with Annex M.
When the ADSL cable is connected to the VIGOR 120 the DSL light is solid.

The WAN setup is set to failover to WAN2 if WAN1 fails but nothing happens.

Could someone offer any advice on what I'm missing or, preferably, detailed steps on how to configure the 2 Drayteks correctly?

Hi, are you sure the Vigor 120 is set up correctly?
Is your ISP Be* There with their Be Pro service?
So you've got a static IP and some settings?
You've then put these setting in to the Wan2 page?
Online Status shows Wan2 operational with your external IP info?

Have you got the latest firmware 3.2.4.4 for the Vigor 120 ? This cured a limitation on the Upload speed.

ISP isn't Be There, its with Midus telecom.
Absolutely sure it's Vigor 120, it says so on the tin
WAN2 was configured with correct ADSL settings on the Draytel Vigor 2820 on the PPPoE tab.

I've since double-checked the Vigor 120, found the user guide. I think it needs resetting as I believe it is set to use MPoA instead of PPPoE/PPPoA.
I do need to ensure the VIGOR 120 is using G.992.5 ADSL2+ with Annex M which, b y default, I do not think it had as an option. It's why it was set to MPoA as it had that in the modulation dropdown box but PPPoE/PPPoA did not.
Do you know if the firmware upgrade for the VIGOR 120 would resolve this?

Midus, that's a new name to me.

There is a Modulation section which by default would be on "Multimode". I recommend using Internet Explorer to configure.

With my 120 I found that Multimode didn't always guess the best (what I would term the fastest) connection type - so I have manually specified Annex M.

The Menu: Internet Access >> PPPoE/PPPoA definately allows you to configure the Modulation.
