Vigor2820vn can't log on after firmware update

Hello, I hope someone can help me. I have a Vigor 2820vn, brand new and just unboxed. I needed to have the latest firmware (3.3.5) for VOIP stability.

I unpacked it, set it up, logged on to the web ui, updated the firmware and now it won't let me log on with the default username. I have tried admin, Admin and blank for the password. I have factory reset it several times in the hope that it would reset the password to the default settings but this hasn't worked.

I hadn't set the username or password before the upgrade.

Does anyone know what it might have set the default password to?

With the new firmware, if you've factory reset the router then it's got admin as both the username AND the password - if that fails try clearing cookies (either for the whole browser or by the router's IP only)

I just had this on a new firmware too.

If you get the red invalid username/password display under the logon box then you've got the wrong username and/or password but if it just reverts to the blank logon screen again then you want to remove the relevant cookie and it'll be fine.
