Hi

I've just ordered a DrayTek Vigor 2850, should have it deliverd between 6th-9th december 2011. Is it fairly straight forward to set this up with BT Infinity?

Thanks

Baz

Hi

I got my 2850 on Wednesday. Unfortunately Im not at home so Im doing this off the top of my head lol. Log into the 2850's webpage, 192.168.1.1. Longin/Password both admin. On the left side of the page click on WAN and then Internet Settings. Setup at PPPoe, in the username box type ur BT username and then in the passoword box leave it blank. Click Ok or Apply, let the 2850 reboot and hey presto.

Very strangely since connection my 2850 my Infinity has come to a crawl. I used to get 27 DL and 7 UL now Im lucky to get 5 DL and 1 UL.

Managed to get mine going. Here is what I did.

Under WAN -> Multi-VLAN
enable Channel 1 and set the Tag to 101 (I left my priority at 0)
click OK

Under WAN -> Internet Access -> WAN1(details page)
enable PPPoA/PPPoE
set 'Multi-PVC channel' to Channel 1
set the username and password as provided by BT
click OK & reboot

This worked for me, the connection came straight up after VDSL had trained.

Hope it helps others.
