I can't seem to get http://freedns.afraid.org working with my Vigor 2820 I have entered the correct setting and checked the log which says "Updated successfully" however when I log to my account at http://freedns.afraid.org it still shows my old IP.

This sounds like the issue is DNS on your local PCs or on the 2820, or with your current DNS provider. What are the DNS servers which your 2820 is picking up? Are they your ISP's defaults?

If you use Windows and Start > Run > cmd

What is the answer you get? Is it the Updated one?
