DSL or router rebooting? 2820n was created by mike ainley
Hi

We've got a 2820n that has been fine for 6 months. As of last week we've had intermittent dropout (several times a day). What's odd is that the system uptime AND the Wan 1 uptime appear to have reset - does this mean that the router has rebooted rather than just reconnecting the DSL? I wondered about power issues, although it was on a UPS. I've moved it to a different power socket and it's still occuring.

I've attached some of the logfile below - you can see where it just goes from connected to reconnecting. Also odd here is that the date and time go back to Jan 1 and 00:00, although I suppose that could be before it gets to an NTP server?

Can someone give me an idea of what is happening?

Thanks

Mike

As an addition to this - I'm not sure if it's actually my browser logins that are causing the reboot? It seems that shortly after I've logged in, it reboots again. I've tried two different browsers (chrome and IE) and it seems to happen with either.

Going to leave it alone now and see how long it stays up for.
