Measuring performance on each interface was created by robathome
Hi - I have a 2830 with ADSL and ethernet connected via FTTC, and am very keen to measure what actual throughput I am getting through each interface. From googling I guess I can IPERF but I wouldn't know which interface it's using - and it's not possible to disable each interface while I am testing during the day. Does anyone know of a draytek tool that can measure this?
thanks
Rob

Hi,

Easy : Create a Load-Balance Policy in VIgor2830, in order to force your PC IP (running iperf) address to go through WANx.

:)

Makes sense, thanks.
I guess this will need a PC elsewhere on the net thats running iperf - I was kinda after something that would be available all the time like a public iperf server or similar?
