Hi all,
I'm very new to draytek (2920n) and have very basic configuration problem, sorry!
The problem is taht THE WAN2 IS REPORTED AS DISCONNECTED . WHYYYY ??
See below the story...

My provider (vodafone) assigned me a single static ip through a router
which I can connect through a normal cat6 ethernet rj45 cable.

The address network assigned is
ip 91.81.41.90 // netmask 255.255.255.252 // gw 91.81.41.89

If I setup this address on a single computer and connect it to the vodafone router
all is working ok.

Now I have copnnected to the vodafone cable on the draytek WAN2
with these settings:

WAN general setup for wan2:

i guess to select "static or dynamic ip" as access mode, isn't that?
And setup the static ip above into the static ip boxes

Static or Dynamic IP: enable
keep wan connection: all blank
wan connection detection: ARP
MTU: 1442
RIP protocol: not checked
WAN IP network setting: unchanged
Obtain IP address auto: ALL BLANK
Specify IP Address: Set as bove: 91.81.41.90 ecc
DNS: set as my opendns
Default MAC address checked

Then the router wants to reboot and I did it

THE WAN2 IS REPORTED AS DISCONNECTED . WHYYYY ??

Hi,

Have you tried :

- update your Vigor2920 to latest firmware V3.3.7

- Check with Vodafone to "reset" MacAddress of your public IP (91.81.41.90) on their servers (in order to confirm if this is the issue, you can try to specify the MacAddress of your PC (the one you said its working OK), on WAN2 of Vigor2920 (Clone MacAddress).
