Hi I have bought myself a Draytek Vigor 2110VN Wireless N VoIP Cable Router 3G
I want to enable remote ftp and and also as ftp:\\192.168.0.1 .
I can access the USB drive inside a LAN by switching on SAMBA using the win7 network neighbourhood but i CANNOT do ftp:\\192.168.0.1 or has ftp:\\<public i.p>

. How do you set this up ?

i have opened port 21 on 192.168.0.1 but no joy. I have enabled SAMBA and can see using icon network of win7

Sorry to be a pain I am more a programmer than networks. I cant find it on the manual or anywhere

Did you ever get at resolve to this, same problem on a 2850

Have you enable FTP at System Maintenance >> Management then maybe needs enable admin from wan @ System Maintenance >> Admin Setting

I have done that, and can use filizilla to get on the the usb stick, but no good direct from Brower ftp://<wan ip address >
