Vigor 2710n and Virgin Superhub was created by aodh
Hi,

Is it possible to use the Vigor 2710n with the Superhub in modem mode? I was hoping to use the QoS on the Vigor to improve my Vonage connection.

Thanks,
Phil

I don't think is possible ... because it does not have incoming ethernet wan to use it as pure router but only the build in adsl wan

You will need a dual wan (they got and adsl or vdsl wan plus ethernet incoming wan) such 2830 or 2850 (but they have limit to 90mb speed) or better the new 2860 with speed up to 200mb

If you want just router and use any modem including cable then you may want the 2130n which supports speeds of 800mb

Thanks babis3g.

I didn't think it would work but I'm not that clued up on these things. I'll sell the 2710n and look for an alternative. I do like the look of the 2860, best get saving :)
