2820. DHCP IP settings was created by ip dummy
First hello, I'm new to this forum and new to Draytek. As my handle says, I'm a novice when it comes to IP networking.

So I've acquired a used 2820 and it's now running the latest firmware V3.3.7.3. I'll be using it to run a holiday park guest WiFi system I have installed, using Ubiquiti access points. During the summer I had over 200 devices connected to the the system and the current router, a BT hub, could not cope. I suspect I may have up to 300 devices connected on a busy weekend however when I set my DHCP range on the 2820 it will only allow a max of 253 in the IP pool count, is that standard on these products?

My settings are NAT 1st IP ad 172.16.0.1 255.255.252 (this should give me a potential 1022 clients, correct?

DHCP start add 172.16.0.51 leaving me 2-50 for my static IPs.

Can no one confirm if the max IP count is 253 on these devices?
