Hi, Hope somebody here can help a complete idiot that is me :wink:

I'm trying to replace my existing Sky Modem/Router (Old Netgear with dark Grey casing) with a Vigor 120 connected to an Asus RT-N66U router.

I've extracted my Sky username and password using the site wideley mentioned when googling these things. However when I try to set up a PPPoA connection using them I get a error message telling me that the username/password are incorrect. Does anybody have any idea what I might be doing wrong.

are the credentials definitely right.
Id just call sky and ask for them.

you also need to set it for pppoe, you'll need a pppoe profile set up on the router which passes to the 120
No config on the 120 should be required

Not sure about this but I think you may need to clone the mac address of the sky modem.
