Hi,

Currently am on Demon Internet using my trusty Vigor 2800 which I've been very happy with. Would like to change ISP due to Demon looking like they will not offer FTTC and being a Sky customer already combined with reviewing the market potentially want to use Sky due to FTTC and no fair usage policy.

My Vigor 2800 will not allow me to VPN to a virtual private cloud at Amazon (AWS) but I would like to as well, as I use a separate device for dual band wifi I'm not to bothered about anything over and above routing, VPN and Sky Fibre compatibility, plus of course IPv6 when that comes around.

Looking around the Internet I think the 2850 might meet my needs but being a bit of a VPN noob am not sure so would appreciate some more knowledgeable help. If anyone could help me then would be much appreciated.

Regards
Iain

Hi the 2860 does the same as the 2850 but with more.
Its already ADSL/VDC combatable out off the box and has higher VPN and firewall throughput IIRC
