Hi All

Just to let people know, Draytek customer support pointed me towards this firmware which now supports SKY Mer on the 2850 series.

ftp://ftp.draytek.com/Vigor2850/Firmware/v3.6.6/Vigor2850_v3.6.6_AnnexA/Vigor2850_v3.6.6_A_232201.zip

Make sure the unit is set to MPoA / Static or Dynamic IP and Enabled.

Set the unit to Obtain an IP Address Automatically.

Enable DHCO Client Identifier for SOme ISP and enter the USername/Password from the original Sky Equipment.

Thats all that should need to be done but the unit still wont connect. I guess im missing further connection settings. Can someone point me in the right direction? Should I be setting VLAN tagging?

Thanks

Big Mike

I can't remember what thread it was in - but I posted a bunch of telnet commands that had me up and running in seconds after a long battle.
Search for posts by me and you should find it if you're still stuck!

Thanks all for the reply's, my 2850n is now up and running perfectly. The issue was despite being told by Draytek to enter the commands in the web interface and not to use Telnet, for some reason it only works when you enter the DHCP options in Telnet.

Thanks again! :D
