We have house guests staying with us who are likely to be here for some time due to flooding of their home..

They are sharing our internet connection, but I would like to be able to keep an eye on their total bandwidth usage as I have a capped connection. My guests have a Desktop PC, MacBook Pro, iMac & Various Smartphones & Tablets all connected to the Access Point which is bridged to my Draytek.

My setup:
Visor2820Vn
Linksys WRT160NL (DD-WRT Firmware), wan disabled and used as an access point bridged to the Visor2820Vn.

I would like to monitor total data usage originating to/from this specific access point on the Draytek . Is this possible?

I had hoped to monitor directly on the Linksys via the DD-WRT firmware but that only allows monitoring of what is leaving via WAN (disabled).

I'm happy to buy a different access point if necessary.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks,

Mark.

I know on the 2830s you can see the total WAN bandwidth but I doesn't split down per device
You can see in real time in the data flow monitor what is being used but that info doesn't save to show a report,

Id create a VLAN for them to use and cap that lan
