Apologies for the stupid question...
But I have got a client with a leased line just installed and I was *expecting* a managed connection, but it seems the reseller has swizzed us and there's no managed router.

So... I bought a Draytek 2925 to interface with the fibre module, and then I was going to use that to talk to the 4 other "businesses" that share the line.

Previously they were on an FTTC connection, and the 2830 at the front "just worked" when it came to the block of IP's.

So what am I doing wrong? What just having a brain failure in terms of "what am I searching for to get this set up" ?

I have allocation of the below from the ISP

WAN IP = 194.x.x.150
WAN subnet mask = 255.255.255.252
Default Gateway = 194.x.x.149
Routed IP's network number = 194.x.x.144
Routed IP mask = 255.255.255.248
First host = 194.x.x.145
Second host = 194.x.x.146
(etc)

Just what am I needing to do / look for manual wise to find out how to get the other Drayteks online?

There doesn't appear to be IP routed subnet that I have had with the Draytek 2830 /2860 on the 2925 - Is this right??

(And I got the latest firmware off ftp.draytek.com)

Sorted with help from the 090 support line...

And Talk Talk Business - After they explained how they work...



You need to enable ping from the Internet - if you don't -they don't route the subnet
