Smart Monitor Services Stuck on Starting was created by lightpathit
We are trying to get Smart Monitor installed on a Windows 2008 R2 server. The setup process all went OK and we chose to run it on port 8080 so it did not conflict with IIS. When we go to the website we get an "It Works" message, but are unable to get the software to work. After looking in Services, the SMwatch service is running, but the Smartflow and Smartwatch services are just stuck on Starting. In event viewer there are messages like "The Smartmonitor service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 866 time(s)." or "The Smartflow service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 7 time(s)." Both with EventID 7034. I've searched the forums and the internet for similar issues, but am unable to find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Martin

Best to send emails, usually not coming in the forum for support
