Hi,

We have a 2820.

the problem I have is this.

Window SBS network using the router as the DHCP server ip ranges 192 etc work well.

We have a legacy unix box running old software that I need to query from this network. It's fixed IP address in 126.0.0.3.

How do I set the router up so that we can talk over the LAN to this IP address.

Many Thanks in advance.

2820s don't support multiple IP subnet Alias'. You would probably need another router in-between the two networks with static routes.
Or you could use a layer 3 switch and setup two different VLANs and allow intern Vlan routing.

Many thanks,

That is how we have it set up using WAN2. Shame I wanted to reduce the amount of wires.

Many thanks
