I have a 2860 which supports both VDSL & ADSL connections.

I bought it so that when I'm ready I can move over from ADSL to VDSL using the same router.

On checking for a firmware update I discover that we now have two options, a VDSL or an ADSL firmware upgrade.

If I update my router using the ADSL firmware update now what happens when I switch to a VSDL line in future?

Do I just update to the latest VDSL firmware update at the time when needed or if I update now using the ADSL update am I then denied the option of switching later?

Just read through another post about 2860 firmware upgrade problems!

I think i'll leave alone for now and wait for the next one
