2860 Management Problem was created by olly66
Hi,

I have been managing my 2860 router perfectly well for some months but now when I try to connect internally using 192.168.1.1 or via the web using the external IP I can't connect the web browser just keeps trying then says 'This page can't be displayed'. I can access the web through it perfectly well and I have some AP-900's connected to it and I can connect to them also internally using their internal IP's and also from the web using the routers external IP:port. So I am at a loss as to why I can't now connect to the routers management interface!! I have rebooted it a few times but nothing works.

Any ideas?

TIA

Olly

check at system maintenance > management > allow access from internet if needs anything ticked
Also check at system maintenance > admin settings if anything has changed there

If all are ok you need to check the NIC card of your pc or with the cmd (windows) try ipconfig/renew

Well that's the problem....I can't get into the management of the router from anywhere so I can't check what you suggest.

Have you tried https?

Can you connect with a terminal program (like PuTTY) on port 22?
