2860Vn+ Missing Voice Option was created by zdz
Hi, got a second-hand Vigor 2860Vn+ router, the Model Name on the Dashboard is Vigor2860n+, not Vn-Plus, which the router is.

I've re-applied the latest FW, factory reset, no change. Any ideas to get it to recognise the correct unit?

FW Version: 3.7.8
DSL Version: 548006_A/B/C HW: A

Thanks

Has your unit got at the right end the 2 extra grey ports? (phone1,2/line)

It is the 2860Vn-Plus

It's defo the Voip model. It has the two phone ports.

The graphic in the GUI and the model represented is incorrect.

Tried FW with .all and .rst files. The .all one removed the "DSL Version" data from the dashboard. Might run the .rst version again.

I use WAN Ethernet, not ADSL for what it's worth.

If i was you i will use the *RST* ONLY file extensions (for a clean instal) and use the first firmware 3.7.3.3 from here
ftp://ftp.draytek.com/Vigor2860/Firmware/
via this method, but just use the files for your model
It needs windows & the firewall (example norton) needs to turn off & each step by the correct order & carefully
http://www.forum.draytek.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=19253&p=80423&hilit=firmware+utility+tool#p79577

Then load back the latest with the same method
If not success try the support

Update:

The link to the FW @babis3g sent (thanks, BTW) contained more versions that on the standard D/L page. Flashed with the "STD" version. Lost all settings, (not a prob), But still showing incorrect router version.

DSL version came back on the config page, until I reloaded my config file. Odd.

Any more ideas?

Just seen your post babis3g, will try stipping back to base FW and going from there, was thinking similar myself.

I'll give that a go and report back :)

Thanks for your help (y)
