Vigor2925 firmware damage was created by robertxc
Hello. I have just upgraded my 2910 to a 2925. I have tried to upgrade the firmware from 3.7.6 to 3.7.8.1, but it has returned a scary looking message to say the firmware is damaged and that I have to upgrade it immediately or the router will die! The upgrade doesn't seem to have worked at all so it appears to be saying that it is the 3.7.6 version that is now damaged. I tried bot the rst and all files. For good measure, it also has "Status: Firmware Damage" in angry red letters, as well as a pop-up warning that appears at every screen refresh. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance. :-)

You need windows & close the firewall at pc & also during the process do not disturb the update
Aldo i forgot to mention you need to set at pc static ip in the range 192.168.1.10 & over (example 192.168.1.50 & don't forget after update to set back to your deafult ip)
