we've been using a Vigor2925-n-plus for less than a year and until 20 minutes ago everything was fine. Then, all of a sudden, any URL started redirecting to http://router_ip/error_page.htm?flag=1 with the message:

404 Not Found !!!
The requested URL was not found on this server.

Nothing has changed, in fact if I unplug the network cable from the router and plug it directly into my laptop everything works (it's how I'm posting this). After 15 minutes of trial I've also upgraded to the latest firmaware (3.7.8.1) but no luck.

Cannot see any obvious errors in the admin panel (it says it's conneccted correctly to the network).

frustrated, after hours, I tried resetting to factory and sure enough as soon as I enable the connection I get redirected to the same 404 error page...

when you reseted the modem, did you use same config (backup) file or you did set all settings back from the begin?
