vigor 100 annex m? was created by gilesw
Hi all,
I just bought a vigor 100 to use with my be broadband in combination with a linksys wrt to get some better qos. I don't use annex m at the moment but I'm a bit concerned that this modem doesn't work with annex m as the box is plastered with annex A.
It's a blue unit, does this mean it's a old version? I don't get the product changes between have been made between the versions, the websites all say no functional changes have been made, if so why were the boxes and model numbers changed?

It supports both Annex A and M, but you might need to upgrade the firmware.

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply. I actually updated to the latest firmware but when I change to the bridged mpoa settings the router becomes inaccessible after a reboot. I've tried connecting up to my bethere line and even after leaving it for over an hour I don't get connected, and I can't access the webui on 192.168.1.1 or 2.1
I'm wondering whether I should send it back and wait for the vigor 120.

heya louis-m I followed that guide to the letter. I re-flashed my router last night and changed to mpoa and unplugged my bebox this morning. I'm going home at lunch now to see if it's connected.
Should the vigor be accessible at all when it's in bridge mode?
