2800VG blocking incoming IP addresses was created by nick555
Hi
I'm getting some hacking attempts into my server, I'd like to block some incoming IP addresses. My (SBS2003 Premium) server is open to SMTP incoming, http, VPN & Terminal Services. These are protected by ISA 2004 firewall. It's so difficult to configure ISA, that it makes the Draytek look easy!
I'm thinking that I configure in Firewall/Filter setup. Do I use call or data filters please?
Any help welcome.

Please can you confirm whether this will block attempts to connect from 217.13.117.30 ?

Yes it should so as long as:
1. Filter set one branches to filter set 2
2. No rules in filter set 1 or above this in filter set 2 explicitly grant access for the ip address.
3. You tick the box to enable it.....

Great, thank you for your help.
So I don't need to enter a port number?
