2 Problems with Vigor 120 was created by cdpoole
Hi
I have 2 problems with my draytek vigor-
I cannot connect to the web interface 192.168.2.1 wirelessly.
And I'm not sure if this is related but I am trying to video chat and audio chat on iChat on a mac but I think the vigor is bloocking the ports. Is this possible? My moden is an Apple Time Capsule which can be thought of as the same hardware as the Airport Extreme.
Any help would be much appreciated

Subnet mask (according to the time capsule) is 255.255.255.255
I think the subnet is (again according to the time capsule)
10.0.1.2 - 10.0.1.200

Can you actually connect to the internet with your Vigor 120 as I can't even do that. If so can you give me an idea of what the settings are on the Vigor. I have put my internet username and password into the time capsule but the vigor keeps saying connecting to pppoe and does nothing.

Yeah I'm connected.
I used thishttps://www.cm9.net/skypass/
On the time capsule. Only type this info in do not write anything in service name.
I'm pretty annoyed that this modem hasn't lived up to my expectations.

I've seen that problem several times on threads. As I understand it this can't be done.
The way I got around this is to set up an Ethernet Connection to the Vigor 120 in the Network section of System Preferences selecting manual configuration for IPv4 and updating the IP Address field only to 192.168.2.2.
I have to connect the Vigor 120 directly to my Mac's LAN port with my AEBS turned off. Doesn't seem to matter whether the ADSL line is connected. I have renamed that connection 'Vigor 120'. Then I open Safari or Firefox, enter 192.168.2.1 and I'm in. Funky page rendering as described elsewhere, but it works.
Now I have updated the firmware (took 2 minutes), and entered a password (10 seconds) I won't have to use the Vigor 120 configuration again unless there is another firmware update.
Before reconnecting the modem to the AEBS I make the 'Vigor 120' ethernet connection inactive.
Hope that helps someone.
