2820vn & VigorPhone 350 was created by weehappypixie
Please can someone let me know the best way to configure my VigorPhone 350 with my DrayTel account. It is connected to a Vigor 2820vn (not using the VoIP on the router).

I had the phone configured and it worked for months but the other night it locked up and I had to reset to factory defaults. I have tried configuring it as per DrayTel (I have attatched the screen shot they sent me) and it does sign on but then after a while changes its status from registered to registering and it just sits in this state. I have tried STUN server on, and off. Proxy in and out to no avail.

My Vigor 2820 I have tried with 3.3.4, 3.3.4.1, 3.3.5_RC2 and 3.3.5_RC5 firmware. The VigorPhone has the latest official firmware.

Please can someone assist me with this as this is the phone line I rely on for my mother to call as it has same local STD code as her.

Thanks.

John

Have you tried rolling back to firmware 3.3.3?

Edit: Forgot to mention. When you change firmwares are you using the rst file or the all file? Are you also saving your config and uploading it back if you are resetting? Might be worth trying a roll-back to 3.3.3 using the reset code then manually re-configuring the router by hand and see if that gives you better results.

Hi,

I have tried using the rst files and manually re doing the config. I have also tried puting a public IP directly on the phone.

Have you tried increasing the expiry time?

I had an issue with Draytel & another SIP provider & found increasing this to 3600 kept it registered.

Hi,

Yeah it's set to 3600 but it still drops off and reverts to registering all the time.
