2820n -port forwarding not working! was created by teris3
Hello,
I have a pc in my LAN with ip 192.168.0.1 and I have Radmin server installed on it. When I work in my LAN locally, I can connect through Radmin to it.
When I try to connect with Radmin to it out of my Lan and although I have setup port-forwarding port 4899 to 192.168.0.1 in the NAT menu in Vigor 2820n, its not working!
Any ideas?
Vigor has latest firmware installed

Aswel as port forwarding you need to create firewall rules.
plenty of posts on these forums detailing this.

Not unless you've altered the defaults.

Ok thanks for the answers.
Although I am not very experienced with 2820 and firewall rules, (simple port forwarding was working fine in my old Vigor routers), I tried to create a simple firewall rule but still not working!
Any help would be appreciated?

I have a similar problem, I have 2 port forwarding rules setup, both used to work but now all of a sudden the second one has stopped working. I wonder if its firmware version related. The port forwarding that is working is to the management page of a AP700. The other is the NAS box which used to work but now does not. It is still on the same internal fixed IP address as i can access it from within the lan no problem. I have tried changing the external port from 80 to various ports and none will work. Trouble is I am not sure at which firmware upgrade it stopped working, I am currently on 3.3.5.1.
