Im new to the Draytek scene - and a little dissapointed at the mo if I am honest. Installed and configured this router and ever since the installation it occasionally drops its internet connection.

I have looked at the system info as below and we seem to be getting a lot of RX CRC errs.

Any ideas or pointers would be great - thanks!

What sort of speed does the ADSL connection get? If it's less than ~4Mbps then try this modem code / firmware on the router, which should help:

we sync at anywhere between 1.5mb and 2mb. Can you tell me which of the two files I should apply to the router?

And will it wipe my config so I'll need to apply the nat settings etc again?

The .all file would be the one to use, the .rst file would clear all the settings on the router.

Just to say thanks Voodle - that worked a treat. 17 hours up and no loss of connection. Just out of interest what was causing it between the different firmwares?
