How to uninstall VigorACS

This article explains the process of uninstalling VigorACS from a Windows or Linux installation.

Before uninstalling VigorACS and sub-components such as MariadB, please check and ensure there are no other databases in the MariaDB database which are being used by other applications.

Windows

WARNING: All VigorACS data will be LOST

Uninstall ACS-SI for Windows

  1. ACS-SI can be uninstalled from a Windows installation by locating the VigorACS SI in Windows Programs menu

    Follow the on screen instructions.
  2. To uninstall MariadB (MySQL), in Windows go to add or remove programs, this can be found under Programs and Features. Select MariaDB 5.5 (x64) then select Uninstall/Change
  3. There may be folders left in Windows which may contain some files, to ensure a complete uninstall of ACS-SI, please check for the following folders and these can be either renamed or deleted.
    C:\Program Files\VigorACS SI\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\VigorACS SI\
    C:\Program Files\MariaDB 5.5\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\MariaDB 5.5\
    C:\EMS
