I have a Vigor 2600VG which has served me well for years. I am now told however that it is limiting my download speed as it does not support ADSL2+.
Can anyone confirm that this advice is correct, and also suggest a suitable model for upgrade. I currently have one PC and one laptop in regular use, both using wireless connection, and also need wireless connection for additional laptops from time to time.
I used to run a business from home, but have now retired, so don't need anything too complex; I just want to be able to make full use of the broadband capacity now offered by my supplier

Older firmwares often won't cope with ADSL2+. If you need not all the functions in thr Draytek Vigor series then always consider something like a Netgear DG834 - its are very good little units for around £40 - £50. The Draytek 2820 would do the 21CN job but will cost you another £100.
