Vigor 130 modem setup issues was created by dudedell
Hi, I've recently set up a vigor 130 modem with an asus tuf ax5400 router, and have found that the download speeds have dropped about 20mbps. My set up before was the talktalk WiFi hub with the Asus router in ap mode, as I couldn't bridge the talktalk router.
A couple things to mention is that the modem is second hand, and the router wouldn't connect to the internet on PPPoE (as suggested by talktalk), so I changed it to 'automatic ip' instead.
Is the reduced speeds a fault of my own, or can this be expected ?

On the Vigor130 for TalkTalk set :
MTU 1492
General Set Up :
VDSL2 > SERVICE >Tag Value > 101 Priority 2
The ASUS should work on PPOE.

Frequent disconnections can result in the reduction of speed. Post your stats here please.
