Hello. I have a vigor 2860ac and am considering moving from BT broadband to Vodafone Superfast 1 broadband. Are there any router configuration issues as obviously, I want to stay with the vigor router?

throughput will be constrained by the 2860 so you will most likely need to upgrade toa current router to get the best out of the connection.

Des is right. You can get more speed out of a 2860 by disabling the Firewall & Data Flow Monitor, enabling HW acceleration. It still won't be Gigabit but it'll be closer. Ofcourse that means, no Firewall.

Isn't Vodafone Superfast 1 just their 40/10 offering, for which the 2860 will have zero issues dealing with (and likewise it is more than happy with the 80/20).

your right... I must have misread this 1gb or their gigafast product. 2860 is 300mbps firewall so will be fine. sorry for the confusion.
