VigorTalk Alternative ?? was created by mikeytt
I'm looking for an alternative for the now discontinued VigorTalk.
I have some friends that I want voiped up, and don't want to replace the router.
Ideally want them to still use their normal home phone for all outgoing calls, but allow voip and PSTN/POTS for incoming.
Ideally without providing them with another physical phone.
Also would like to use sipgate provider, so it'd need to be configurable.
The VigorTalk would have been ideal.
Anyone got any recommendations??
Thanks, Mike...

I'm sorry to see that nobody replied to you.
We've been usingWWW.VOIPTALK.ORG since we bought a Draytek 2600V about seven years ago (roughly), we now (very recently) have a Draytek 2820Vn.
Always been impressed with the call quality (no jitter, echo..) , and price, especially when I had to go away to the United States for three week, leaving my wife back home, the calls were free from the two Voiptalk accounts.
There may be better or cheaper, I don't know. Based off our experience, over several years, I've had no problems with them.
