I have upgraded both of my phones to the new firmware.

We have waited a long time for this firmware and I was hoping for some improvements. Unfortunately, I think things may have been made worse!

I found that with the previous firmware, using a headset was almost impossible. With 90% of the calls, I had to lift the receiver to take the call as it was so quiet. Now, with the firmware upgrade, the volume is so loud it distorts. Even when turning the settings down voice settings for the headset down to 1 and the headset volume down as low as it will go.

The volume is so loud it is not useable. I am also now getting a very loud mains hum which was not there before.

I have upgraded the firmware on my IPPBX 2820 to the latest as well.

To be honest, I have an analogue phone plugged in also and have to transfer the call to the analogue phone to be able to use it properly. Why are these phones so bad!?!
