Vigor 2830 - prioritise voip was created by tadeus
Hi,
i use a Draytek Vigor 2830. For phone calls i use a Gigaset C430-IP phone. Thats a stand alone voip phone which is conected with the vigor.
When i use the my whole bandwith for downloads/streaming and somebody use the phone, the voice quality decrease dramatically. My guesswork is that the voip packages have a too low priority.
So, how can i prioritise the voip packages or the whole phone traffic?
Thank you in advance

Try enabling first priority for voip in [Bandwidth management] > VoIP
What's probably happening is they've being given the same priority currently but that's affecting them adversely as voip will drop packets that don't arrive in time from the playback and this gives choppy voice.
