The Best ADSL Service Providers was created by wildwalker
Hi everyone.
I would like to ask you all a simple question. Who do you think is the best service provider for ADSL?
I currently use BT, they cost me £29.99 a month and while I have no problems with their ADSL line, their administration has given me grey hairs.
So if you use a provider other than BT and you think they rock let me know.
As a point of interest I play a lot of games so I am really interested in upload performace rather than my downspeed.
Thanks All

I have tried Frontier Internet (good network but very expensive), BT and Plus Net.
If u do not mind waiting for 40 mins for a support call then Plus Net are cheap and their network is quite good - BUT BT, despite the cat calls, have the money to keep thier network in good shape and their performance is second to none. I know their support is poor...but if u want great support then pay premium rates and use Frontier.
I find that u pay for what u get in this business and overall BT offer good value for money.
Hope this helps!

Ive been with Pipex for 4 months and not had a single problem, and not a single need to contact there technical support. I know this doesnt say how good their support is but it does say something for their network performance. I also get excellent ping rates playing games! For £23.44 a month its very reasonable too. And with no 12 month contract, just a £50 payment if you cancel within 12 months you not too commited. They have a lot to boast with, performance and network wise. Take a look at www.pipex.com

Hi,
I too have been with Pipex for about 6 months.
They have had some press about their customer support being poor, but their service levels are very high.
I would recommend them to anyone.
If you want more info, have a look at
http://www.adslguide.org/
as they have loads of info on ISP's, and also some comparisons of different ISP's.
