Does 2820 support USB drive? was created by gary.clifford
Does the 2820 support a USB flashdrive being used in the USB port and the accessed using FTP?
I can't find any documentation about it anywhere.
I also see that the 2910 supports a USB hub. Does the 2820 support this?
Thanks

some of the 3.3.0 beta's supported it.
However it's been removed from the rc5 version and I've read that it hasn't made it into what is reported to be the release version.
So it's obviously do-able, but draytek have decided not to give it to us (yet)

It's being experimented with but may not make it into a proper release firmware.

I just tried to connect a USB harddisk, and it did a factory reset on my draytek 2820vn. Fortunately I had a backup of my configuration.
To be fair, I am using the 3.3.2 RC 1 firmware, so I guess it's not quite ready yet.

I have a 2820vn with the 3.3.2 RC1 firmware and a buffalo 8gb flash pen plugged in - FTP works a treat!
Edit - Be sure to use FAT32 though, NTFS starts a reboot cycle of the router
kybernetikos, this may be the issue if your hdd is NTFS... just a thought
