you might think a refund is on order.
With computers and technology the rules seem to be a bit different though.
you can always ask and go to Trading Standards if necessary.
For me it would be too much hassle to go back.

Like it too much really!
Support have been very good, and I have a few things to try to confirm if its a fault or not with the unit.
Supplier has been in touch as well and are looking into it, so all will be fine in the end.

I've actually got a loan unit. They thought the unit might be faulty somehow so sent another one. It's exactly the same though.
Apart from this I like it too.

I have been experimenting with this all evening, and I think I have cracked it.
For me and i have replicated it 3 times, it is when you tick the box to activate the syslog feature for the Alert Tool, trouble is unticking it doesnt get it working again, only way I have found to get syslog working again is restore a config prior to ticking the box.
I have currently syslog working on a new config as I had to start from scratch.

The tick box that activates sending to the new AlertTool, its under the section for activating the syslog.
I've been in contact with a chap at Draytek all week, must say they have been really good.
I sent him before and after cfg files so he can compare the two, but for me its happening everytime I activate that AlertTool tickbox.
Only way back is to restore a cfg file prior to activating it.
