I have just spent a while trying to get the K3520-Z (Vodafone) working on different versions of firmware, using various combinations of initialisation strings and APN names - but no joy.
I contacted support, who reported that it isn't supported - but suggested I try RC8 of the 3.3.2 firmware, which they sent through. Still no luck, though.
The modem doesn't initialise - and froze the web interface while trying. After unplugging the modem, the router came back up okay.
