Wireless (wifi) as an alternative WAN option was created by mbartos
Scenario is you go to a public event where there is open wifi but you want to have your own LAN bridged by VPN to your office. Ideal option would be to take your spare 3G enabled Draytek router with you..
I tried this with a 3G dongle once and it semi-worked but a) bandwidth, b) service reception, c) 3G service disconnecting because of load.
Surely not such a big issue to have a further WAN option?

Yes, vote me in. I'd love to bank on my neighbour's WiFi...
