2900 Multiple IPs was created by ldoodle
Hiya,
I need more external IPs from my ISP, which they will give.
At the moment my 2900 has the one IP x.x.x.x, and dishes out an internal address (192.168.1.2) to my firewall (ISA Server) which is in the 2900's DMZ. The internal address of the 2900 is 192.168.1.1
How do I go about setting up the 2900 to use the extra IPs? Does the router get them or are they 'passed through' to and configured on the physical device (ie server).
Thanks

in the router,
wan>wan alias> add additional ip's into there.
untick "join nat pool" otherwise the router will reply to requests from a random ip within that pool which can be troublesome for internet banking etc
you can however, add the addtional ip's to the second subnet which will router those ip's to servers
