2820Vn with second adsl line was created by ianfaz
Hi
I am using my 2820 and it performs extremely well on a PlusNet account on WAN1. I have just had a BT account enabled on a second line and attached a modem to that and made sure it is working.
I have problems when I attach the modem via the ethernet port for WAN2. I assume I have misunderstood or I am setting WAN2 incorrectly but once connected I can only download email, web browsing becomes extremely slow and yahoo messenger stops altogether.
So my question is where can I find a morons guide to getting it working as the manual seems to assume, foolishly, that I know what I am doing?
I would like to have both 1 and 2 connected concurrently and share the work so to speak.
Many thanks, Ian

you might need to set the WAN1 and WAN2 speeds to match your actual DSL rates, the modem probably has a 10/100 lan port which the 2820 is seeing WAN2 as that speed and its confusing the load balance policy
