2820and ADSL 2+ support was created by nakita_dog
Hi all,
I have two ADSL lines, and have just upgraded my internet on one line to ADSL 2+. I then found out through our service provider, IDNet, that the 2820 is not yet working with ADSL 2+. They also confirmed that Draytek are aware of this issue.
As this was one of the reasons I purchased this modem, I'm less than delighted.
When will a new firmware fix this issue?
Thanks.

The Vigor 2820 does work on ADSL2+, I'm using it with Bethere, perhaps you need to ensure your modulation is set to either multimode (which works for me) or ADSL2+ (G.992.5)

As the other guy said, it's nonsense. The vigor2820 certainly supports ADSL2+, Annex A and M. Who was this ISP ?

IDNet. So why can't I get it to work then? I bought a Netgear router and it's working fine.

Well what settings are you using? As already stated what is your modulation set at? A bit more information is needed before anyone can answer why you can't get it to work.

ADSL 2+ works fine here too!
It all depends on what modulation, VPI & VCI your provider is using.
