Works perfectly straight out of the box, APN of 'internet'.

I was a little concerned because the K3565 wasn't listed; however, it works like a dream.

I've tried various fw's (3.2.1 --> 3.3.2 RC8) with a Vodafone K3520-Z - and no joy. This is the white one supplied in the last month (jul-aug 2009) from Vodafone.

This vodafone K3565 3G USB stick can have RAM added to it, so that it is a multifunctional device. I've added 4GB ram chip to my USB dongle and now I have best of all worlds when i use the USB on my mac.

The Draytek 2820 is supposed to have a USB Storage application eg to mount data on the LAN. But i've found that the Draytek doesn't recognize the Vodafone K3565 as being a storage device - possibly because it is convinced that it is a 3G modem (which works ok although it is not plug and play- because the router needs manual reconfiguration to use the 3G device).

So if anyone is thinking that they can use the 3G stick as a USB storage device on the Draytek 2820, then it probably wont work (but if YOU'VE gotten it to work then tell me how you did it!)

Hi Alan

I have not tried to use the Micro sd option on the Vodafone dongle. Ive only used it as a backup 3G conection whith those settings I posted.
