Vigor 2910 management access from LAN gives 400 Bad Request? was created by o4support
We (myself and colleague) both have accessed the router management previously, but on attempting http://"the routers LAN IP" now just returns a 400 Bad Request message.
It doesn't even prompt for a password (which is set and previously worked).
Tried rebooting the router, just powered off and on, and lights all showing ok.
The router is functioning fine, nothing going wrong other than can't access the management pages. We haven't turned on the Management access restriction or remote (WAN) management.
The Syslog program runs and receives log messages just fine.
Any ideas how to get back into the management pages? or what could be wrong?
Regards,
Todd

Replied by o4support on topic Default http port was changed ...
Figured it out.
Connected byhttps://192.168.X.X (encrypted https) connection option and this one worked when http:// wouldn't!
Once in I saw the default port for http access was changed, so connecting with http://192.168.X.X:portNumber/ now works also.
Hope this helps someone else.
