I have a Vigor 2600we but am wondering whether or not it's worth persevering with or is it old technology?

Having all sorts of problems sharing files and printers on a mixed OS network. Vista can only access the internet if all firewalls and passwords are turned off - leaving us vulnerable to intrusion and leaching.

Also seems slower in practical use than my age-old ZyXEL that I replaced with the Vigor.

Should I just scrap it and go back to my ZyXEL or even invest in a newer model altogether?

Any advice is appreciated.
